lol ronaldo is such a good player that he had to rely on his antics and dramatics to score goals. what sort of precedence he is sending to kids who will play football in future. its simply not football. is that what we see in the future.

Yes, I know French and English don't go together and the entire issue about Ronaldo cheating was created by English media. C.Ronaldo is one of the best players in Portugese team. He can be very dangerous with his explosive speed. So along with English hooligans, the french fans joined to boo him. Even though I am not sure how many of them were really french fans.

Anyway, from the very clip you have posted here, look for yourself. The refree could not have been any closer. Rooney was a dumb fu*k to step on the groin of the other player in front of the refree. All Ronaldo did was he tried to explain his point to the refree. You should know that every player from every team does that unless you are new to soccer. C.Ronaldo did not enter the refree's mind nor did he reach out to the refree's pocket to show the red card. It was refree's sole decision.
It was Rooney, the idiot thug, with his unprofessional behaviour of pushing Ronaldo that too right in front of the refree that brought him the card.
The English fans and the media have not been able to digest this fact. But I am not surprised since they are not the smartest ones.

And another thing, Rooney was fouled well before the incident took place. He was being grinded like anything and the referee in my opinoin should have blown the whistle a long time ago, not when he went down to the ground. And take a look at the video, the referee stood their pointing for a free kick with no intention of giving a card. It was not until Ronaldo protested and was being pushed by Rooney that the referee acted. So you can judge through the video. Maybe I saw different than you.

I don't see any foul play in here. Guys stop it. Don't blame poor Ronaldo. You guys cannot blame him just because he winked somebody after the incident. Does anybody know whom he was winking to?? In this whole video I didnt see him indulging with any opponent player, all he did is appealed to Refree, which everyone does. It's Rooney who pushed him away and he got red card for that.

Come on guys! be fair!! at least in this case. These English will keep talking about this for years. And we should know the fact that English lost the match because their penalty kicks were saved by Portugese keeper. They should have kept the ball in the net. How can a team win with just a goal inside the net out of 4 penalty kicks?

Orange Boy, its your assumption that getting Rooney out was C.Ronaldo's plan. Was Rooney stepping on Portuguese player's groin also a part of the plan? Was the Portuguese player supposed to fall down and somewhat from the grace of God, Rooney's foot will lay on his groin, and then he would be sent out. Was the plan like this? These are all speculation, and speculations of the English Media.

And that wink, C.Ronaldo could have winked for many reasons. He could have winked to indicate that it would now be easier since Rooney is out. Or he could have winked at a hot girl he saw on the side. Who know why he winked and at whom he winked? The intentions are not clear. So all English media could do was complain. Never once did they write about Rooney's behaviour which is what cost him the game. If Rooney had controlled his temper, he would have been just fine.

Camoflagged said it right. England lost not because Rooney was out but because they could not put that god damn ball inside the post. The game as I see was fair. They went for Penalty shots and English players chocked, or rather were chocked.

English media are trying to find a scapegoat for the loss of their players. Here's my tip to them, WHAT ABOUT THOSE GOD DAMN PLAYERS WHO MISSED THE PENALTY SHOTS.

Well, I don't know where the post went but I am still a portual fan nevertheless. I want to let you know that just because some people try to slander someone doesn't mean that the person is bad or just because a person is bad doesn't mean the whole team is corrupt for that matter of fact.

Agree with you there. England can blame themselves for missing regulation penalties, that you would expect by now they should have been good at.
