i need some help guys. i am married to a us citizen. i just got done with my naturalization interview to become us citizen. it says it is approved and i should wait for N-445 oath ceremony letter. but the problem is that i am in constant stress things are not working out betwween me and my wife, i am about to file for divorce all the papers are signed and ready to be filed. of the divorce is finalize before oath ceremony will it affect my citizenship. It says you are not a u.s citizen until you take the oath ceremony. help any experts................

CHYAME KANCHA ji ii am maried to only one us citizen . it is hard to handle one i wish i can marry two. i alreday have my gc i am in the process of getting citizenship, i passed the stupid inerview , i am waiting for the oath ceremony letter, after that i will be a us citizen. the problem is my divorce might finalize before oath. i am afraid that they will stop my citizenship process. any nepali lawyers.. help. or any expert................. thanks

dude that's the problem if i got her off my back before oath ceremony.i might be in trouble. i have to fill n-445 ( oath ceremony form) where i have to answer if my marital status have changed after the last interview with ins. if i say yes they might withhold the citizenship process and then i have to wait five years to file citizenship instead of three years for people who are married to us citizen. i don't know the dam ins law that's why i am seeking hekp.............................
