I reimaged my laptop and now all the files and folders from my D drive has disappeared.I was not aware that the software would partition the hard drive of my computer, now there is no D drive on my laptop at all

Any suggestions on how I can restore those files,

Any suggestions is much appreciated

Try restoring back to your previous working time. That may help...
