bpnepal ji, it s a really good engineering school. I have some frens doin phd at my school who were an undergrad at clemson and they are really proud of it and they have said good things about it. however i cant say anything about the phd becoz u r in a different program. but i m sure u can find more info about it. they are really pushing on towards being a research university and with all the funding, i am sure u will have access to good oppurtunities.btw is tht ur only option? if yes go for it, if not evaluate ur options. Good luck

Since you had asked the question in sajha, I was assuming that you had applied to more than two universities and had more options in picking up the right school (lt makes sense right coz' if you were hellbent of going to a grad school and Clemson was the only choice, my suggestion wouldn't have made any difference at all. So in that case why ask for suggestion right.). Anyway I thought that you were undecided between Clemson and some other university. So my suggestion was that you should weigh down the pros and cons and be specific to your field of interest if you have other option. However, if your only option is Clemson, and you are really motivated on getting a PhD, go for it. Sorry I could have been more clearer in my previous post. And by the way welcome on-board \m/

Clemson is not a bad idea... I am in the same state doing PHD in the same subject.. it is a great engineering college. Clemson is a small town and living cost is also comparatively lower... alot of nepali students(~20)....Its good idea to go Clemson..so I will recommend you ...( do not be a fan of Clemson tigers.. they suck)
