BabuRam's fame is based on his topping the exam. I like to tell you about a comment by N. C. Chaudhuri, the late Indian author that people in India set great store by the people who excell in the exam. That is not a measure of creativity. If you read Baburam's writings, they are worse than useless, full of cliche and the shallowest understanding even of the Marxism in which it would not be unfair to expect him to show some depth.

40 point demands persented by Baburam Bhattrai on behalf of the Maoists on 4th Feb, 1996 to then PM Sher Bahadur Deuba absolutely doesnt appear to be against the majority of Nepali people. The 40 point demands creats problem for the Royal family of Nepal (and those whon depend on them).

Communism is a failed philosophy. Even in China when MaoSe Tung was ruling he could not handle the famine. He put all his efforts in the steel industry which in turn failed miserablay. As a result he starteed cleaning off people who were against his rule.

Facts to be considered.
1. When maoists will start coming to power, then there gonna be foreign intervention. Much longer war. How many people will lose thier lives?

2. Suppose there is no foreign intervention and they come to power. How their policies gonna work? There gonna be economic embargo, thats for sure. A land locked country with economic emabrgo under communism. What else? famine, genocide ( they will clean up people with different beliefs)

3. King will go back to multi party democracy cause everybody is watching his moves. I hope he take actions against these corrupt leaders before goigng back to multi-party.

Corrupt leaders are crying foul. They did not do anything when they had chance. They did not freeze bank accounts of panchayat leaders at that time. Instead they allowed them to come into power like Surya Bahadhur, CHand, Kamal Thapa.

Atleast in the currrent context investigation is going on, and I hope Girija. Makune, Govinda raj joshi. and others will be prosecuted and punished.

Baburam might be NON-BELIEVER and I really dont care much about him being believer or being non-believer of god.

I'm a NON-Believer of GOD as well but why the heck should I force my parents to become non-believer. If my parents want to visit some temples I will certainly help them get there but I wont attend the temple.

You might have children if not one day when you have your children and when they grow up. Your childern might become non-believer as well but that doesnt mean your childer should force you become non-believer as well.

So the maoists family can do whatever they want and we Nepalese gotta do what the maoists want? So Baburam respect his parents' beliefs but he does not respect ordinary Nepalese Beliefs. Maoists even burnt down temples. He thinks his children have rights to persue what they want but Nepalese do not even have rights to go to schools and univs.
