Just 2 more weeks, Sept 1, we will start the college footbal  for this year. As always we are having a contest. The last year winners got T-shirts from Sajha. We will have gifts for this year to for 2 winners. 

The schedule will be updated after AP poll is released tomorrow. Because it is just impossible or at least not practical to list all games. So, we will focus on AP poll until the BCS poll is out.

About preseason Ranking:

I simple hate it, does not make any sense to see the ranks of team based on hype.

Who will be the winner?

Let's see until 2-3 weeks...I am heaaring a lot of buzzs about OU but I don't think SEC will remain silent (What about Georgia?). Do you think some team from preseason top10 or Auburn ( I mean team on 20's as it happened last year)?

Hmm. Its getting interesting. I do not feel that there should be rematch, lsu won that's it. The other people should get chance. Remember 2003 when auburn was undeafeated and left out and Oklahoma?? Played even it lost earlier.

But it looks likely with the ranking today. Although Alabama is above Stanford, I think it will be no 3 next week if it wins Oregon. If osu and Stanford keep winning they will be on the national champ game with lsu. ( oh lsu need to keep winning toooo, I think Arkansas is trying to pull something) so if Stanford and osu lose which is very likely Boise state keeps bragging although gets nothing, lsu /Alabama is still unlikely. Because of market share. They want some other conference team.

lets see how stanford and oregon game plays out next week, if standford loose and OSU loose too by the end of the season, there is chance of rematch. I dont see Boise playing for NC on any kind of scenario. But sentiment against rematch between LSU vs BAMA is strong on media and i dont think NCAA wants national championship becoming ALL SEC SHOWDOWN.

 A lot of ifs...for this to happen..rt now i would say not likely....but you never know....

No. 19 Nebraska at No. 12 Penn State>> I was choosing Nebraska even before all this sh*t around penn state
No. 10 Virginia Tech at No. 21 Georgia Tech>> ACC games are always fun to watch, u never know who wins.....


And some games become intersting as the season developed as they build resume......

Texas A&M at No. 14 Kansas State>> A&M should get this.....

Miami (FL) at Florida State>> Although both are not ranked it should be a fun game

So, joe pa is out and many are saying urban meyer as new successor. What do you think about this controversy, joe pa and urban??

 I dont know much about the controversy Shivanagar bro but I dont think Meyer will succeed him. He already had a very well built program at Florida and could have continued there for while if he wanted to. I remember him telling the reporters last year that he wanted to reduce his work load and attend the sports events of his chlldren and similar things. So, unless he has changed his mind, I dont think Meyer will coach anywhere. Just my 2 cents.

 Now What I dont like about Urban when he said he wants to be family and friends,how come he is everywhere in the ESPN network all day. I feel like he knew Tebow was gone and he didn't have any good recrruits so instead of getting into a disaster he wanted to leave when he was at peak. And I wont be surprised if he takes any coaching Job this coming season.

Joe pa ousted, he was not even allowed to stay for three more games....

In these conditions, it makes sense to fire Joe pa. Its sad but there are things bigger than football in this world and scandal of this magnitude will leave dark legion in his legacy. He should have known it better.

it was about a graceful exit , he is not directly involved in it and its not like he walked out of it.  Look at ppl like pete carrol.  in this muddy NCAA world, he was the only one with the white shirt and too bad that his 40 yrs of service is terminated by a phone call. I am with the students of PSU, shame on the boards of regent, they need a scape goat !!! 

Apart from the Joe pa, ....we have to move on.

So, OK state vs LSu.......or what id Georgia beats LSU (2005)

so, two teams beaten by LSU are playing national champs and LSU will be left out???  LSU loses to Arkansas/Georgia and Ok state loses to OU re....

 You wish shivanagar. You day dreaming that Georgia will beat LSU? Even if that happens, LSU is almost certain to play National Championship. Once they beat Arkansas, they are through the Championship and SEC championship game loss wont affect anything.
