tps is not to get status, will never be able to, always comes with exp. date, purpose is just to get temp travel doc. this not taking advantage , chauka ma mauka meant those who are stuck here due to status long enough have chance now to travel and meet their families, sufferers or not ( and US law don't care who are real one why should we?) and is given by US laws. those worried that illegals out of status may get richer and prosperous than them after helping, no - you all (aka us citizens card holders) will still be ahead of them don't worry :P coz status will be the same after expiration date. also tps may needed for students with status but visa expired and don't wanna go thru all process again but families homes are suffering. I signed the petition based on the fact that it might help very Nepali people who actually need this. Do I want illegal Nepali have some sort of benefit in USA? Yes but not on based on the reason that has been forwarded. I don't want people take advantage of Earthquake aftermath for personal benefit. Yes, I have Greencard and I am not jealous of anybody who do not have one.

@Kiddo Hey Many People in Nepal are going through humanitarian crisis right now. FYI I want to go to visit my aging Parents right now but I cannot. I am their beacon of hope right now. My student visa has already expired and am working full time in CIVIL Engineering profession here in states right now in OPT. My H1 is pending which would only effective on October 1 (if approved). I wanted to visit my home to see my families as my other relatives are also in bad (though not extreme) situation taking few days leave but I can't if I go its not sure I will get a VISA to USA. So TPS could help me. I am just a representative I guess many other people are badly affected than me, so understand the situation yes many people will benefit unnecessarily but FEW victims could really benefit from it.
