For an aspiring miss world, she has been getting a lot of support from Nepalis all over the world. Her recent interview in Singapore was not so aspiring specially her inability to assert that her mom and dad are from Nepal. How can she say it's complicated when the guy asks where her mom dad are from??

She acts like she was raised in London when she was 15 when she moved to London in 2003. She has only lived in england for 9 years.

 I think this interview  was prepared long time back when she had no idea she would even attempt for miss world and other thing   beauty doesn't necessarily  come with brain.. she must have been nervous infront of camera...   and  that guy's  behavior would make you uncomfortable..
but i wish she had  more strong opinion about being from nepal..  maybe she has a permanent residency from england.. so she is saying its complicated.. whatever it is,  she represents us so i will support her... but she needs to listen to feedback from others... maybe she ain't got what it takes but she could study hard and prepare gooood answers....

I have been liking her page on facebook recently to support her. However this is not a very encouraging video. She does not sound good or proud on being Nepali. Is it cause Nepal is a poor country ? For me the fact is fact. She should in fact be taking out and let the world know what good things we have and what are the problems we are facing. She is someone to whom the world is listening and she is not doing a good job. Sorry !

I just saw her facebook page and I did not find her to be beautiful. Her face is like nile river with chin rising forward.

Her English is not top of the line.. Besides the guy taking the interview doesn't look a whole lot professional either.. Mula Looks like some White dude that would work in a tattoo parlor lol.. Anyways, bottom line, she's representing Nepal but I do feel a lack of Nepali pride. Also, she mentions UK more than Nepal, wtf? She's only been living there only for 9 yrs, almost half the time she's spent in Nepal. Anyways, looks like she's stuck betn Nepali and Engllish Culture, otherwise the "English" would be better .. Khit khit.. 
Best of luck to her.. Its a start, if she wins, it opens the doors to other Nepali.. Also, if her winning gives a little bit of pride to other Nepalese around the world, nothing bad in that!!

She's not the cutest, but so far she has the best physique compared to previous Miss Nepal contestants.

It's very easy to criticize, but I would love to see how some people here would give interviews in front of camera. We would feel proud on achievements of some other NRN or don't say a word of the national player disappearing in the developed country befor even their participation. Yet, we find time to criticize her and coming so strongly against her for her naivety. I watched the interview and the man taking interview is more pathetic, and I agree it wasn't her best interview. But it's not the end of the world, and she has perhaps learned more and  moved on.

YES, THIS interview definitely deserve more criticism and attention than OUR CORRUPTED NETAS LOOTING CRORES as their pension.

 @nepchai i dont agree brother , Who becomes miss nepal ,,,,, or ........... who are smart intelligent and can represent their monther land . They goes and faces many round to select one miss of that nation or country and if this is the product then there must be something wrong with selection. like wise our politican if wrong person is holding chair then he/she must be choosen wrong way .... we are cant give her chance anymore to improve . if that the case then how we can trust our nepalese miss that she will definetly make us proud though we yet not sure what she will do after this ................... teso bhaye ma ni mr. nepal bhanchu ani give me time to learn and improve ..teso ta bhayena niii ......

Do you know when this video came out? Was it after winning the pageant? Does she still think the same? You can make all the corrupted persons like Prachanda, who was openly shown lying on national TV or Sitaula, corrupted for police arms purchase, make national hero? We don't have or don't care to raise our voice against Baburam openly distributing nation's wealth to RICH corrupted netas while many countrymen are suffering due to lack of funds for few lacs for important issues. Yet, all these issues are trivial to you, and you find your precious time or choose to talk against this person's past. Let's talk about the false pride.

Do you feel the same about people giving up Nepali citizenship to stay in US?
Do you feel the same about people lying and making false documents to get assylum in US?
Do you feel the same about nepali women OPENLY selling themselves and giving up their nepali citizenship to get married with OLD & Diseased Korean people?
Aren't we the ones who go to bootlick the netas when they visit here when we know they're running gangs back home or give shelter to the gundas selling our chelis to Bombay's kothis?

It doesn't matter when this interview was taken. We can see from this interview that she was hesitating to say that she was from Nepal. She wanted a higher profile and said she was from London. People say choose your words because what you say will always haunt you. And this true in this case.
