Paani aayo

Sapana matra dekhe....

सबभन्दा गए गुज्रेको कविता फेरि म कोर्छु,
मिरा र ईण्डिलाइ हराइ पहिलो प्राइज नै सोर्छु।
मिराले नर्सरीको जाँच साँच सकाइ रे,
"हे राम" हेर्दैमा पहिलो प्राइज पाउँछ के???
ल माने कि मिरा कत्ति राम्रि पुतली,
तर के तिम्रो मन ईण्डिको लागि नि उत्ताउली!!!
हुशलाइ जस्तो सेकेन्ड प्राइज मलाइ चाहिन्न,
म त फर्स्ट नै हुने, झेल्ली गर्न पाइन्न।
हाम्री बादर्नीको कविताले मलाइ कन्फ्युज्ड गरायो,
हरियो साइन हो भने त ठिकै छ, रातो भे मनै चहरायो।
तातो चीजलाई नै निर्णायक बनाउने चाहिने जो,
पाल्पालीलाई त हाम्री रुइनाले नै थर्काउने भो।
नेसियन्टको घिरौलालाई किन ममा ल्याएर जोड्यौ,
अनि झोले र मनिले आफ्नो केरियर किन अर्कैतिर मोड्यौ??
सुरेन्द्रजी र जिराले भाग लिन पाइन्न यहाँ,
हामी सिकारुले चानस पाउने अरु कहाँ???
सञ्जय त सँधै सञ्जुहरुको पछाडि पुच्छर सरि,
रातो ढुङ्गाको सङ्गितै मिठो, मोहनी लाउने गरि।
शिरिष, एरर र भट्टुले लेखेको रहेछ गनि गनि,
के गनाएछ भनेको त usofa ले हग्दै रैछ कनि कनि।
एउटिकेटि र विज भाइको जोडि आहा कति सुहाएको,
न्युयुजरले अरुको चियो गरेर झण्डै जागिर नै खुस्काएको।
प्रेमचरोलाइ लागेछ देश र चौतारिको माया,
हाम्रो आर्ड ब्रोको मायामा पर्यो कि अरुको छायाँ।
नक्कलीलाई लागेछ समर कामको झट्का,
म फर्स्ट भएन भने पर्ला तिमीलाई मर्का!!!!

Gaye gujreko kabita lekhna kurera baseko mauka
Nirman ji le hani halechan mauka ma chauka
Sabai ko naam liyera banayechan auta kabita dhanna
Mero naam pani tyo kabita ma dekhda ma ta bhayee danga
Bhanchan Nirman ji parecha ki mero maya ma aarkai ko chaya
Tara ma bhanchu mero maan ma ta chha din raat unko nai maya
Koi bhanchan malai orange ball khane balak
Koi bhanchan malai bhagayera lana nasakne kasto nalayak
Tara mero priyatama bhanchin timi chau ek dam layak!!!

hmmm, after that, maybe badarni should win....that was the WORST poem ever! tyattikai "All of you keep it up." lekhne?! come on, you can do better than that!

anyway, i take back my sarcastic comment and commend you on this last poem of yours. it's oh so deep and profound! (;-D)

Why do these poems come to me
In strange times and in unique places,
like when i am ironing a shirt
or pressing francy laces......
at shower time-another rhyme!
No pen or paper handy
If i can just remember this
it might become a dandy hehe

I'm palpali,i was born in palpa to be exact but never have lived there permanently. Chirtungdhara sounds familiar to me. I was born at mission hospital and have been to nearby gorkhekot n bagnas many times. I have frinds in Tansen as well, dhasarath muni's sons are my friends.Actually i have stayed in gorkhekot for weeks. I have friends and family relatives all over palpa. My parent originally came from Ayyabhanjyang/Tannhu. We have relatives in madanpokhara,gorkhetkot,bagnas,humin,taanhu,chhaharaa,haarthok etc. to sum up, I am palpali by soul. Nice meeting you brother.

surendras, i think we may have met each other in tansen....you said you are friends with dhasarath muni's sons, hoina ra? well, i don't know the father's name, but if it's who i think it is, he has a few sons, right? and two of them are twins? i'm not using their names to respect their privacy, but i think we are talking about the same family. they own the new photocopy/communication pasal on the main street in tansen bazaar, right? a few shops down from nabil bank? i am also good friends with one of the twins. he married an american, right? tyo american pani mero sathi nai ho! i was a peace corps volunteer in chirtungdhara- the vdc immediately to the east/southeast of tansen nagarpalika. bagnas bhanne thaun chahi hamro chirtungdhara maa parchha ni! do you know ghorabhanda? kumal gaun? that's the first village on the road to aryabhanjyang after bartung....ani chilangdi aaunchha....then gabutung. and there is the school in gabutung, motar bato muni....that's my school!!!

yeah, i know gorkhekot too. i used to walk through every week on my way to tansen. they have that little boarding school at the end and a sano mandir pani. my nepali family has relatives in gorset, the village in the middle of madi phat, it forms the border between chirtungdhara vdc and madan pokhara vdc. oh, how i miss palpa!!! i saw the photo kabita thread the other day for the first time and read your poem, "palpa mero aankha maa"....i printed it out and saved it! bela bela maa, palpa ko yaad aaunda, i will read your poem and feel like i am home again. please write more!!!

la ta, palpali sathi, i am glad we have been able to connect through sajha! there was a thread a while back too, "anybody from palpa". anyway, enjoy this photo....in the meantime, i'll try to think of more bad poetry.....
