Hi, One of my friends based in Nepal was contacted for employment opportunities at hotel canada. Does anyone know if it is a real establishment as I could not find any info on this hotel? The closest I found was one based in Milan. As the story goes, after applying with cv via email, the hotel staff is asking for a deposit of US$ 250 for the tourist clearance card & the visa processing. What makes me more suspicious is the email address given as "africanasiatour222@yahoo.com. The contact address is: dorpsstraat 156, 2712 apzoetermeer, holland, tel# 0031617624723. My friend is being recruited for the newly opened branch of that hotel in holland. I am trying to verify if it is not one of those scams...Any info on the matter would be appreciated. thanks.

Doesnt it smell scam to you? No wonder your fren didnt realize that. If I am not wrong he is in Nepal and people over there get so emotional towards such offer and we all know the reason why. But you should have heard about such scams being so common here in western world, haven't you? Well to me this is a scam.

How simple are our nepalese brothers in Nepal... I heard so many people in Nepal getting emails telling them they won Lottery. Amount? Fat $60,000,000. As soon as such astronomical figures appear in your email... from the lettery which you never bought... it's SCAM. People responded to such emai... then in the second step, they will ask that person to send money Euro 700 to for clearance of the money to be ready to transfer to NEpal... The medium to send that money is Western Union or something for which you cannot trace which person in Europe has withdrawn your money.. ha ha.. THAT's for sure a SCAM... After getting such emails, many nepalese have passed sleepless nights daydreaming... and not sure how many have been already cheated. 700 Euro is almost about NRs 80,000!!!!
