IRS resident means different from "INS resident"

u have to be in the US from 2003 and from that year u have be here for a total of at least 183 days in order to file as a resident....i myself called the IRS and obtained this information.....hope this helps.......

I also called the IRS two times. First time they say, you are NR. With the same information, a week after, I called and they said you are Resident.
Confuse confuse, and more confuse!!!

No w I am thinking to go to the tax filing agent H and R block. Lets see what they say.
