NC(D) or rather NC(Corrupt) had an election for its parliamentary leader. The choice was between an American stooge and a corrupt politician. The American stooge won by a large margin.

Moriarty must be praying that their guy i.e. Deuba become the next PM so that he can scuttle the reapproachment with the Moaists, create choas in the Nepali politics and pave the way for Gyane and his henchmen to rise again. I won't be surprised if that happens again and hope it does not.

I am hoping that in the next parliament (whenever that is), the NC(D) will be a fringe party like the RPPs.
