Few years back I had watched the film “Gandhi” it was so heart touching. Yes it’s true that the Indian got independent from the British but at what cost. I am not talking hear about the lives they sacrificed for the independence, I am talking about the lives after the independence, the separation of India & Pakistan, the Hindu Muslim riots etc. And now when I look the current situation of Nepal I am scared of the same. First the civil war of the Maoist and now when it seemed that every thing is going on fine as the Maoist enter into the main stream of politic and joined the government. The Madashi started their protest. And if some how this problem is solved some other group will come up with their protest. Cannot we live like one Nepal and all Nepalese? Why do we have to categorize us as Madashi and Pahade. Saying this I am confused about the definition of Madashi and Pahade. Are the people who are not chetri,bhun,newar…. Are Madashai , are only the maithali people the tharus, rajbanshi etc are madashai or the whole people living in terai (madesh) called Madashai. And forgot to mention now the protest by teachers association, tomorrow it will be by student association, next it will be by another it will go on and on. And now some body has made out a film in the current situation showing riots between madishe and pahade, rape murder, vilonce etc. Any was my point is our Nepal is small and beautiful lets not divide ourselves as Madashai and Pahade. Lets unite together as Nepalese.

I fear for Nepal...
