Anybody in Geneva, Switzerland ?
Is there any visa requirement to travel to neighboring countries from Switzerland via road ?
If anyone knows, please let me know. I have been getting mixed information. Some say that borders are wide open and others say they are restricted.
Thanks

Yes, if you are a nepali citizen, you need a visa for every country you are planning to visit. That does not apply to Europeans and US passport holder (gets the visa on arrival).

switzerland is not schengen yet so they still have border check points. but then there are so many border check points that not all of them are necessarily manned. the check point I passed to get into switzerland from germany was a pretty busy one and they didn't bother to check everyone's passports. i was just waved in without havin to show any identification. i don't know if that's true all around the swiss border though. in any case, you want to be safe. if you have a swiss resident permit, I think you should be able to move around without problems.
