Does anyone know how long it takes to get a green card , or move to USA for the children of a naturalized U.S citizen. the son is 28 years old and unmarried..

Man, if u are above 21 years, will take approx 4 years after ur parents file petiton for u.

Kalopani if son is over 21 n unmarried then it will only take 6 mth.

first pls mind ur language Sowntown guy? does ur parents teach to talk like that?? Well I just checked on USCIS website. IF he/she is under 21 it takes around 6/7 months.

http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_3269.html. go thru this and u will find how long it will take. 1St Preference in the list is Unmarried sons and daughters of U.S. citizens

ya i checked that site already.. and under 21 don't need visa quota and come here within a year.. but i don't know what't eh time frame for someone who's over 21 , but unmarried...

right now they are processing the application for 8 august 2001 which means if you had applied during or before that time, your application is being process now. so according to this bulletin, wait time is around 6 years. but it can be less than that too because some times visa bulletin moves forward pretty quick.
