Dear language aficianados, I could not answer say what exactly "relimai" means. Is it just a slang for a loved one? Does it have a root in Gurung or any other culture? Any insight is appreciated.

I think it has some connection with "Lahure Culture" of Nepal. There is a song called - Relimai relimai relimai, lahure dai ko relimai. It says lahure dai ko relimai - So, could mean lahure dai ko lover?
