Telegraph Nepal

“After holding secret talks with Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Unified Maoists Party and having later discussions with Indian leaders while in New Delhi, a visibly overwhelmed Nepal’s former monarch Gyanendra Shah in a subtle political mission but under religious cover is touring across the country”, writes a popular Nepali vernacular online-khabar portal.

When Gyanendra Shah may have met with Prachanda is definitely a mystery?

Or is it the belated ‘fusion’ of the two differing poles?

“In the modest but yet beaming manner Gyanendra Shah, the former Nepal King, received public greetings gave an impression that he was never stripped of all powers that he enjoyed being the sovereign of Nepal”, reports the portal and adds, “Gyanendra looked brighter.”

By the way, Nepal’s former King Gyanendra Shah in his five days long trip to Nepal’s far-west region arrived in Dhangadhi, March 29, 2012.

“Thousands of supporters, motorcade, welcome gates, raining flower petals and slogans in praise of the bygone monarchy all gave the impression that Gyanendra Shah is still the King of Nepal,” the report quotes eyewitness as claiming.

As usual his supporters demanded immediate return of monarchy.

Speaks of people’s “compiled” frustration of over six years or so.

“Raja Aau Desh Bachau, Hamro Raja Hamaro Desh Pran Bhanda Pyaro Cha”, the popular slogan was repeatedly heard.

On his way from airport to the Hotel, Gyanendra Shah walked for about ten minutes amid scorching heat and thousands of supporters surrounding him.

Later in the evening, the former King met his supporters in a group.

This must have panicked the Faltoo-Jokers in Kathmandu.
